Citing Sizzla as one of his main influences, Bamboo B aims for the highest heights with his fierce blend of roots reggae, ballads and jump up dancehall. Adopting the Rastafarian faith as a youth, his lyrics have a no-holds-barred advocacy of repatriation, reparations and, most of all, Love. His debut album, 2005's "De Man From Zion"- on the Soundcore Entertainment label, showcased the tremendous talent of this fledgling artist. When tracks like "Lyrics" and "Love Jah Ways" hit the airwaves in the Caribbean, Bamboo B found himself opening for the likes of Beenie Man, Junior Kelly and Gregory Isaacs.

His impressive performance at the St. Kitts/Nevis International Music Festival, sharing the stage with John Holt, Ludacris and T.O.K., helped set the stage for his return to the recording studio to work on "Jah Heavens". Released in 2006 on his own Bamboo B Records, this album reached into new musical realms, showing maturity and expansion of consciousness. The first hit "Righteousness", brought B's music to a whole new audience. And the infectious groove of "Party", with silky smooth vocals provided by MR. QUICE over B's gritty rhymes, was an instant club hit!
